Compton is not good enough for England
Former England captain Michael Vaughan feels that Nick Compton should open the batting for England, and was not even considered in the top six batsmen in the country has to offer.
Compton has been struggling for runs, and was given great way Joe Root, Vaughan feels the young Yorkshire should open the batting in tests with Alastair Cook, when Kevin Pietersen returns.
Vaughan wrote in his column in the Telegraph: "It's hard, but I do not think Compton is among the six best batsmen of England."

By contrast, Vaughan wrote that Root, who scored a century in the second Test, had a much better temperament and technique, saying. "Joe has a very strong technical press has a forward primer and reverse that puts it in a good neutral position to open the front foot.
